We'd like to suggest these 10 essential health tips to help promote your health and wellness. These steps are easy to incorporate into your daily life.
1. Eat Healthy
Eat whole grain breads, whole wheat pasta, beans, fresh fruits and vegetables. Decrease salt, meat and fat. Drink water!
2. Breathe Deeply
Aerobic exercise (swimming, biking, walking, running) is the best way to get oxygen and will help you look younger.
3. Practice a Positive Mental Attitude
Look for good things in life. Much of our overall health comes from our mind, so it's important to keep an upbeat attitude.
4. Keep Your Nervous System Functioning Properly
The nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, nerves), controls and coordinates bodily functions. Keep it functioning properly. Chiropractic care can help.
5. Avoid Excessive Drinking
Studies show a glass of wine or a drink a day can help protect against heart disease; however, more may be problematic.
6. Decrease Caffeinated Products
Drink less coffee and tea or drink decaffeinated. Eat less chocolate. Find natural healthy ways to get stimulation such as exercise, yoga, and participating in activities you enjoy.
