bend at the hips and knees, not the back, hold the object close to you and lift with your legs, while concentrating on keeping your back straight.
* Don't carry a wallet in your back pocket
especially when sitting. This tilts your hips and causes the low back muscles to tighten unevenly.
* Sleeping on your back
is the most restful position for your body.
* Always stretch your muscles
before and after any sports or physical workout to prevent injury and soreness while improving your performance.
* Have periodic checkups/adjustments
